Jennifer is the mother of four, including her micro preemie daughter who was born at 23 weeks gestation in 2012. After writing her first book to give hope to mothers suffering trough a high-risk pregnancy and those who have a baby in the NICU, Jennifer felt that she had to do more.
Jennifer has spoken in front of the United States Congress, the House of Representatives, and the New York State Health Department Medicaid Office to encourage the passing of legislation aimed at helping pregnant mothers and premature babies, as well as several maternal and neonatal health conferences. She currently co-chairs the International Neonatal Consortium’s (INC) Communication Workgroup, is a member of The Morgan Leary Vaughan Fund’s Board of Directors and is on the Standards Committee for the Preemie Parent Alliance. Jennifer is also an author of two books and a regular contributor to The Mighty and The Huffington Post.
